Our Story
Dr. Tip Tippit's vision for launching a dental office was to provide excellent dentistry with Texas style hospitality. It was and has continued to be dentistry with a handshake, a smile, and shared laughs. Rooted in the ways of the old West, it has always been about family values, kindness, and the desire to treat everyone who comes through the doors with dignity and respect.

Tippit Dental Group was founded by Dr. Nathaniel G. “Tip” Tippit. It all began in 1978 shortly after Dr. Tippit started his own family in 1977 when he married the love of his life, Lesli.
This love of family and dentistry coincided, and it was soon the Memorial residents that reaped the benefits from a dentist who cared for patients like he cared for his own family.
Patients who chose Tippit Dental Group remained loyal to Dr. Tippit because they trusted him with their dental care and overall health. Each patient received his undivided attention, a commitment he demonstrated daily through exceptional dentistry with a heart. Dr. Tippit’s personal touch extended beyond the office—he often invited his last patient of the day to join him and Lesli for dinner. This has left a lasting impression, one that continues to resonate with patients today.
The family feel and personal touch became the trademark of Tippit Dental Group and we've stood true on that culture for more than 40 years.
As the family grew with the addition of the Tippit children, Trey, Abby and Holly, so grew the Tippit Dental Group family with the addition of the Bellville office in 2013, the Cypress office in 2014, and the Brenham office in 2017 and now Livingston and Westchase!
Dr. Tippit’s legacy of devoted family dentistry has been proudly carried on by his son, Dr. Trey Tippit. Committed to upholding the family tradition for the next generation of patients, Dr. Trey Tippit personally selects every dentist and office manager who leads their practices. He recognizes that a good business means good people, and strives to preserve the family values and Texas hospitality that define the Tippit Dental Group.
New patients who visit any of our dental offices often wonder why we care so deeply about everyone connected with the Tippit Dental Group, whether they’re patients or staff.
